I love Stubb’s sauce so I thought that these would be great. They’re fine, but don’t have enough of a kick. Thankfully I can fix the problem by dipping in a bowl of Stubb’s. Maybe next time I’ll save some money and just buy some generic chips and dip them in BBQ sauce.

It's a high bar for these to taste as good as I'm imagining that they taste.

“Original" like nobody had made BBQ flavored potato chips before.

That's disappointing. Stubbs is definitely my favorite BBQ sauce I can buy at the store. I 'll still look for them and just dip them into Stubbs sauce like you suggested lol

Well, I think they’re referring to the original Stubb’s sauce , as opposed to the sweet or spicy versions. I generally find the original spicy enough for me, but using the spicy version on the chips may improve them.

Exactly. Herr’s usually does a pretty good job on their snacks, but this one left me a little underwhelmed, sad to say. However, whilst I was shopping I found some of their Buffalo and Blue Cheese cheese puffs, and those things are awesome. I also stumbled across some Mac’s Buffalo pork rinds that are another favorite.

I’m wondering if I can mix up some sour cream and Stubb’s and make a new dipping sauce...

The chips or the sauce? I found both in St Louis.
